Davis TruTrac Bar
The Davis Tru Trac is designed for the Ford F53 chassis with a V8-V10, Workhorse W20, W22, W24, W16-18, GM & Kodiak 4500/5500.
When Ford made the F53 Class A motorhome, their goal was a very soft ride with a leaf spring suspension. They accomplished their goal, but any time you aim for a soft ride, you also risk swaying and handling problems.
That’s exactly what happened with the F53. The springs are very long on the side of the chassis. With their big rubber bushings and spring eyes, the axle is free to move back and forth on the front of the motorhome.
When you hit a rut with a Ford, typically the front end goes one way while your coach goes another. To stop the problem, Henderson’s Line-Up installed a Safe-T-Plus, but the results weren’t good because the suspension fought the Safe-T-Plus.
After they installed a Davis TruTrac Bar — and then installed Safe-T-Plus, the combination worked great.

The Davis TruTrac is cadmium plated and uses polyurethane bushings for long life.
Warranted
The Davis carries Roadmaster’s one-year limited warranty to the original purchaser.
The Davis TruTrac Bar helps keep the axle from side shifting. You get crisper & more responsive steering.
