bly with a new Cognito Brace Kit that addresses the second problem of excessive wear you often find with tricked-out 4×4’s or even any 2-wheel-drive truck operating in adverse conditions.

The Long-Time Problem

Pitman and idler arm wear has plagued Chevrolet/GMC 4×4’s for years. If you’re just puttering around town, fine. But, if you’re subjecting a vehicle to heavy stress, the failure factor can disappoint you.

For instance, if you run a lift kit & big tires, the larger the tires on your vehicle, the faster the parts wear out . . . and other aftermarket fixes have failed to correct it.

We discovered OEM factory versions don’t give enough support to the steering system . . . and that’s what causes pitman & idler arm wear, which leads to replacing worn tires every whipstitch.

In the 4×4 Idler Kit, SuperSteer^® has teamed the constant, controlled steering of the SS175 with a clever new patent-pending idea from Cognito Motorsports . . . a pitman brace kit that cuts the wear-out factor to a minimum on pitman and idler arms.

Cognito has come up with a new non-traditional design that gives GM steering systems support for pitman & idler arms & greatly reduces the wear.

The new 4×4 Idler Kit incorporates both features you need to get both benefits: Great steering control … plus … no more excessive wear.
